1. Information we collect

When you register for EMP Academy, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and any profile details you add (bio, location, career goals). If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves.

We also collect information generated by your use of the platform: course progress, assessment results (including EMP360), task and evidence submissions, and conversations with the AI Mentor.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the service: to track your learning progress, score your assessments, personalise AI Mentor guidance, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-party processors

We share data with the processors necessary to operate the platform: Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI Mentor and assessment recommendations), and our hosting and database providers. Each processes data solely to deliver the relevant service to you.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
