GDPR & Your Data Rights

1. Your rights

If you are located in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, under the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation.

2. Access and export

You can view and update most of your profile data directly from Settings. To request a full export or copy of your data, email hello@empacademy.com and we will respond within 30 days.

3. Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interest (to improve the platform), and consent (for optional communications and non-essential cookies).

5. Complaints

If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
